FAR's Small Business Assistance program operates across Armenia and focuses on helping families increase income and move toward long-term self-sufficiency.
SBA supports women-led households, families with many children, socially vulnerable families, displaced persons, and individuals with disabilities. Participants receive practical business training in areas such as business plan development, marketing and branding, budgeting, and financial literacy. In some cases, specialized technical training is provided, such as honey production, horticulture, and orchard management.
Beyond training, SBA offers business consulting, ongoing monitoring, and selective funding to help promising small businesses launch or expand. This program emphasizes accountability, growth, and sustainability, ensuring that support leads to measurable economic progress.
